Melinda Loftin graduated from Kimball High School in 1974 where she was a member of the National Honor Society, was honored as Knotable Knight for her service on Student Government and participated in various activities including dance club and cheerleading.
Melinda double majored at Adrian College in political science and business administration. After graduating from Adrian College she attended the Detroit College of Law where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 1981. Melinda was a Senior Executive Fellow at the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government.
For over 36 years Melinda Loftin has been a successful attorney serving in numerous high level Government positions and performing a wide range of legal duties. In addition to working in the White House Counsel's Office, she served as a professional staff member in the United States Senate, and three Executive branch Agencies; the Department of the Interior, the Department of the Air Force, and the Department of the Army.
Melinda Loftin has received numerous distinctions including the Secretary of the Interior Gold Executive Leadership Award and Meritorious or Commendation Awards from the Department of the Air Force and the Department of the Army.
